Hi, I'm Jennifer
I grew up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and am a down-the-road, seaside girl. The Eastern Shore is a place I will always call home. I am now rooted in Richmond, Virginia working out of my home studio. One of my favorite places to go is the river, I think this connection to the water grounds me. My art has always and will always be influenced by growing up close to the water and on the farm.
My main subjects these days are anything ESVA-related and florals...two things I will never get tired of creating. I love all things bright and colorful. Bringing color and pattern into the world makes me wonderfully happy!
I used to have this fear that paintings would just pile up as I painted them and I would have to stop painting because I didn't have any more room. However, I am learning slowly that this is not going to happen because of people like you loving my art for your home. So, don't worry - I am not going to stop painting anytime soon!
My two main bodies of work are my “Bloom Where You Are Planted” collection where all my florals grow, and my “By The Water '' collection where all my paintings connected to the water live.
I love the endless possibilities of combining meaningful subjects and florals to create connections in my paintings. An oyster shell on the table creates a connection to a place and time. This is one of the many things I love about art; creating is a necessary part of who I am. I am thankful each day for the opportunity to paint and share with you. So, thank you for loving my art and for following along!
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
With Love,
Jennifer W. Klein
